ASSESSORS MEETING MINUTES

SEPTEMBER 18, 2007

12:30 P.M.  Called meeting to order.  Present:  Paula B. Keefe, Richard Gorden, Ellen

                    Abelson and Mark Mazur

1. Two Board members signed a Fiscal Year 2008 Community Preservation Surcharge Report.

2. The Board reviewed and then signed a request for special state authority under

M.G.L. Chapter 58 Section 8 to abate Fiscal Year 2003 taxes.

3. The Board reviewed a preliminary version of the Fiscal Year 2008 Tax Rate

Recapitulation Form.  Subject to receiving a satisfactory explanation on a couple

of items, the Board approved the form.

4. The Board discussed plans for the classification hearing tomorrow.

5. The Board made tentative plans to hold their next meeting at 7:00 P.M. on

Thursday October 4, 2007.
